Equalize- World AIDS Day 2022
The inequalities which perpetuate the AIDS pandemic are not inevitable; we can tackle them. This World AIDS Day, 1 December, UNAIDS is urging each of us to address the inequalities which are holding back progress in ending AIDS. The “Equalize” slogan is a call to action.
Report on World AIDS Day, 2022
Today om 1st December, 2022 World AIDS Day was observed by Red Ribbon Club of the College the Club organized Speech on “AIDS, Causes and its prevention” and Poster Making Competition. All the staff members and students participated in the event. The event started with the introductory speech by our worthy principal Prof. Syed Ifat Ara. Principal Mam delivered an elaborative speech on the AIDS and aware the students about this syndrome.
After her valuable speech various speakers from different semesters explained the theme and thoroughly discussed the AIDS, Causes and prevention of this dreadful syndrome and how to end this stigma and injustice that is done with the people who are victims of AIDS.
After the Speech session on AIDS, Poster Making Competition was organized in which many students took part. Students make different Posters and highlighted the ill effects of AIDS in the Society.
The whole session was moderated by 4th Semester Student namely Irshad Ahmad Chopan. At the end of the session Prof. Gh Mohi Ud Din (HOD English) thanked all the audience especially the participants for making this programme successful.
